How is it Friday already? January is flying by and I know it’s not going to slow down. I normally don’t care for January (sorry if you do!) but I have been having a great month so far.
Friday Faves – No. 54
What are you up to this weekend? Tonight I’m going to check out the new Swapples flavors!!! And tomorrow I have a packed day, starting off with an Ayurveda workshop with my friend, Sam at Take Care Shop DC. You can follow along via Instagram Stories if you’d like a sneak peek into the workshop!
I’m also excited for dinner out on Saturday night at a place I haven’t been to in awhile, Founding Farmers. Have any of you local VA/DC/MD peeps been there?
Here’s What I’ve Been Reading This Week
What’s in Phoebe Lapine’s Fridge — You know I love a good peek into others’ fridges!!
What is an Anti-Inflammatory Diet? — Simple and to the point, in case you’re curious.
Caffeine Free Coffee Alternatives — Along with some info about how caffeine affects our bodies.
Meal-Planning Tips — My friend, Liz, details how she plans, shops for, and preps her weekly meals. She is a wealth of knowledge on this subject!
Here’s What I’ve Been Listening to This Week
Breaking the Starvation-Binge Cycle + Finding Body Love — Another episode with Robyn Conley Downs and Kelly LeVeque (my hero!) all about how to break the starvation-binge cycle
Here’s What I’ve Been Making This Week
Thai Red Curry Beef Skillet — I love, love, love Thai and here is a Paleo and Whole30 version.
Spiralized Sweet Potatoes!! — Technically I made these last Friday night after I sent out my last round of Friday Faves, but man oh man, they were delish! I also made some garlic aioli to go with them.
Here’s What I’ve Been Loving This Week
What To Eat Notepad — I’ve received more questions/comments about this product than anything else! I’ve been using it more to plan my weekly meals and am LOVING it. You can see it in action here and here on Instagram.
Unprocessed: My City-Dwelling Year of Reclaiming Real Food — I received this book for Christmas two years ago and I picked it up again earlier this week, forgetting how much I love it. If you haven’t read it, I definitely recommend it!
Mistakes You May Be Making When Drying Your Hair — I’ve been following Kate for years, and whereas she doesn’t use natural products, her tips are always great!
The Little Beet — I ate here for the first time last weekend and I am hooked!
I love a good peek inside someone else’s fridge too! Thanks for the shout out! 🙂
Of course! I love your site! 🙂
