I don’t know about you, but I always second guess what to pack in my summer makeup bag. While traveling I never want to be stuck without one of my favorite items but I don’t want to overpack.

What’s In My Summer Makeup Bag
Last week, while in New York and then Norfolk, VA, I had to pair down my makeup to just the travel essentials. Here’s what I took with me:
Tammy Fender Rose Water
This rose water is a great moisturizer after a long day of travel or a great toner. Get the travel size!
Jane Iredale PureBrow Brow Gel
Plumped up brows add so much to your face, even without a lot of makeup. They’re like the finishing touch. This Jane Iredale brow gel is really volumizing but not annoyingly so. I only wish the brush was slightly smaller.
Intelligent Nutrients PureServe Color Saving Conditioner
I mentioned this Intelligent Nutrients conditioner last month and will always keep it in my travel bag from now on. It’s so moisturizing. Comes in a travel size as well.
Tammy Fender Intensive Repair Balm
I know, I know, it’s not cheap. But it really works. I saved my pennies for this one and am so glad I did. It’s like the perfect facial moisturizer and you can get the smaller size. It will still last forever. I put it on at night after I wash my face before I go to bed.
Tammy Fender Cleansing Milk
I love to use this cleanser in the shower in the mornings. It’s lightweight, refreshing, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry.
Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30
This is a great facial sunscreen/moisturizer. It doesn’t leave a white cast on your face and rubs in well. The tinted version is great too, if you’re looking for something tinted.
Feed Your Volume Shampoo
Smells great, volumizes, and doesn’t leave my hair dry. What more can you ask from a shampoo?
Do you have any last minute getaways coming up? Are you trying to squeeze in one last hurrah before fall rolls in? These would be great additions to your travel makeup bag or travel beauty routine!
